I live in Berlin, only a few km away from "Afrikanisches Viertel", and have been following this topic for a while. I am very happy about the planned renaming.
But sadly, many Berliners still don't really get the problem. Most of them don't know anything about Germany's history of colonialization.

Merci beaucoup ! J'habite à Berlin aussi et j'ai su de la discussion. La partie d'Angela Merkel a été opposé au changement des noms. C'est pourquoi j'ai pensé que les noms seraient restés. C'est seulement quelques minutes à vélo de mon appartement. Je suis très heureux et je vais le regarder en 2017.
