To continue getting better, stronger, faster? As we're trying to adapt to the machines we've built.

I recently had a look into Unabombers Manifesto, and they assume that even just a pinch of technology will continue driving us downward. As they say, an alcoholic the same would say it's good if you don't overdo it. But the eye cannot see itself.
