Cela rendrait la vie aux terres agricoles au contraire. Ce sont bien les pesticides et insecticides créés depuis 70 ans notamment par Bayer-Monsanto qui tuent l'agroécologie et, par là, l'agriculture dans son ensemble.

Chemical giant Monsanto has been ordered to pay $289m (£226m) damages to a man who claimed herbicides containing glyphosate had caused his cancer. In a landmark case, a Californian jury found that Monsanto knew its Roundup and RangerPro weedkillers were dangerous and failed to warn consumers. It’s the first lawsuit to go to trial alleging a glyphosate link to cancer.

Monsanto denies that glyphosate causes cancer and says it intends to appeal against the ruling. “The jury got it wrong,” vice-president Scott Partridge said outside the courthouse in San Francisco.

The claimant in the case, groundskeeper Dewayne Johnson, is among more than 5,000 similar plaintiffs across the US. Correspondents say the California ruling is likely to lead to hundreds of other claims against Monsanto, which was recently bought by the German conglomerate Bayer AG.

I see to recall that Monsanto was also behind the GM wheat and Agent Orange manufacturing in the past. It’s probably not a company that comes first to mind when thinking of putting people’s health and the environment first.

I was aware of this already. In Canada, too. Same problems. Our governments are in their pockets. Most people don't care b/c they seem to be enjoying the #Kool-aid. The Monsanto conspiracy is about hijacking the world's food supply, profiting off of genetically-engineered and patented seeds, poisoning us with their #glyphosate and #frankenfood. I am the only one in my nuclear family who insists on non-GMO, and that my friend is the norm.
