I doubt if ideology can be reasonably reduced to two dimensions, but if it can, why not reduce it to one? If we're going to simplify, let's go all the way! As for the question, I'd probably be running for my life, as much of my family would have been considered part of the haute bourgeoisie of the time and place. My personal ideology wouldn't have mattered.
