    I think it's mainly a simple matter of expediency. It's like the LQBTQ community siding with BLM... there may be some overlap, but the two things are not equivalent at all, except that both are the victims of discrimination, The enemy of my enemy is my friend...

    I remember when I was a young adult, I knew some gay folks, and at that time, there was a lot of prejudice in the Gay community against trans folks. That always seemed weird to me, not that i thought of trans people as being gay, but simply that I didn't understand why one group of marginalized people would marginalize another group of marginalized people... to me it makes as much sense as the Jewish folks attack the Palestinians... in many cases the Jews treat Palestinians as badly or worse than Hitler treated the Jews...

    I for one think it's a good thing that LGB side with T, the more the merrier (and the more powerful)

    LGB's vormen geen groep vanwege hun sexuele voorkeuren. Ze vormen een groep omdat er bij veel mensen nog onbegrip voor is. Net zo als voor T's. Vandaar dat het nu LGBTQ genoemd wordt.
